Recent Projects
The Nest Project
I began drawing nests when the social distancing started. At the time I wasn’t sure why these complex, interwoven circles were appearing at the end of my pencils, I had never drawn a nest before. But soon I realized the connection, we were in complete isolation and I realized our family was together in the home that we were all too often away from, we were safe in our nest.
It’s incredibly therapeutic to slowly build the woven circles of material, just letting the structure happen naturally from the initial scribble of lines.
Once again, in spite of my usual over-organized and controlling nature, the art materializes without a plan...
I dig that right now.
I offer the finished drawings and also accept custom orders.
