Nested No.2

$75.00

I began drawing nests when the social distancing started. At the time I had no idea why they appeared suddenly at the end of my pencils, but soon we were in complete isolation and I realized our family was safe and together in the home that we were too often away from while working and going to school. We were safe in our comfortable nest, each finding a way to make the best of a bad situation. I coped by drawing a nest a day, some small, some larger, various sizes colors and shapes of eggs. So now I offer the finished drawings here and also accept custom orders to represent other families that are nesting together.

Nest No.2 features a trio of blue, speckled eggs cradled by a feather, perhaps left behind by the parents to assure the young ones that they will return soon. This one is my favorite so far...

:: This is an original 6”x6” colored pencil drawing on black mat board

:: Artwork is signed, titled and packaged within a clear sealed sleeve

:: Matting and framing options are available in the accessories section of the website
