Year of the Rat Wood Block
I figured since it is the year of the rat that I should attempt to draw one. Successful? I don’t know...it reminds me a bit more of a water rodent I saw once down by a lake. No idea what that was, but I’m still calling this a rat.
A friend asked me to take her sick rat to the vet once many years ago. I was initially trepidatious about this until the little guy scurried up under my chin, cuddled in and started making tiny clicking noises. This was apparently the rat version of purring and it was adorable.
The professional quality print is mounted then coated with 3 layers of non-yellowing protective spray + brush on sealer creating a canvas-like texture.
Block is stained a neutral grey and is finished so it can be viewed from all sides.
A card with the title of the piece is mounted in the back and the piece will be signed and dated.
Blocks are made to order so please allow 7-10 days for shipping
